Unitymedia Limited connexion in Wifi & Ethernet

Hi everyone,

First, I would like to apologize for not speaking german. I'm a french student who lives in Germany and I don't have enough knowledge to write and speak in German. Sorry about that.

I come for your help because I had a huge problem with my internet since 4 days now. This problem happened overnight and I don't understand why. I have dig from french forum to english with no explanation yet. So you are my last bet.

Here is the problem :

My internet is "limited" or "non existent' in with a Wireless key and with an ethernet cable. I did some manipulation with my computer and the box and nothing work :

- I have entered every possible commands in the console such as iprenew, iprelease, every commands related to nets int etc...
- I have deactivated my antivirus and uninstall it (it was Avast AntiVirus)
- I have reboot and reset the box multiple times
- I have reset my network card

I am out of solution now and I don't understand why. Is this a box problem or a configuration problem ?

Thats funny (never seen Windows result in French Windows. ...Oui *g*)
However: compared to my output (see attached file, Windows 7, English version) your default Gateway is 1undi, 4th September...
That looks very much like the German Internet provider 1und1.
Do you have, or have had a 1und1 subscription somehow ? do you have preconfigured/fixed settings for 1und1 configured to your Ethernet card ?? - reconfigure it to default = optain DNS, etc. from server. Otherwise I do understand, that 1und1-Gateway/DNS-Server is not working for you as long as you come up as a customer of a foreign Internet provider (Unitymedia).
For further help (if this does not help to solve your problem):
what kind of Internet cable-modem or router do you use ?
do you have access to a web interface of your internet-modem/router where you can see some kind of connection status (how long connected, how fast, your Internet-IP etc) ? (by default your local Internet router can be reached with a web-browser using the IP-adress of the gateway of the used connection (ipconfig in DOS window) as URL (address)

HRHR. "lundi" is french for "Monday". You could have guessed that, because it says yesterday's date right next to it.

Anyway, Reshif54, please try to access your router's web interface and see if you can find the cable/docsis signal information in it. We'll need to check if your router has an upstream signal first.
