Unitymedia Problems in Frankfurt am Main

Hello,

Since 1 week I dont have any internet connection or phone.
LEDs:
Power - ON
DS - Blinks
US - OFF
Online - OFF
Link - ON
Tel1 and Tel2 - OFF

The cables are all connected, didnt touched them, it just stopped. Coaxial is ok, network cable is ok.

Modem is Scientific Atlanta 2203
Modem Serial: 226217619
Modem signal and power readings:

Receive power level: 0,0 dBmV
Transmit power level: 8.3 dBmV
Signal to Noise Ratio: 22.0 dB (too low maybe?)
Cable modem status: not synchronised

Downstream freq. : 247250000 Hz
Power level: -10.9 dBmV
Signal to Noise ratio: 22.2 dB

Upstream status: not ready
Upstream freq. : 0 Hz
Modulation: QPSK
Power level: 8.3 dBmV

Any ideas ?

Do you have a TV or radio attached to the cable too? If so, please try if it's working. If it's not working too, it's most probably a problem with either your house's wiring or Unitymedia itself. In this case you should submit a fault report here.

I would also try to turn the modem off and on again by pulling the power cord and see if it's working then.

Hi thanks for the reply, I only have Internet and Phone, I did reset the modem, pulled out cables and assured its all ok, also let it try to sync, but still no results, I have sent them an email on that page, if no response I will call them, the modem seems to be fine.
In some weird way, is that it stopped working when the big solar flare was announced , weird but true, same day

Calling them is probably the best choice in your case. Or you could try to contact them on Twitter (@Unitymedia), looks like they have a fast response time there.
